The Addimat waiter lock supports both polling and non-polling modes Using the polling mode, the system requests the ID automatically while the non-polling mode reads the key when it is inserted. This allows quick adjustments to existing software solutions, so that they work with the Addimat waiter lock. Every key is equipped with a worldwide unique 48-bit serial ID, so every key is clearly distinguishable. The user simply moves the key close to the reader and the magnetic contact locks it into position. That is not only easy, but also saves time. With a standard RS232 interface, connecting the Addimat waiter lock is made easy. Various optional cable lengths 2 and 0.5 m are available as well. Additional power supply is not required. The reader is particularly compact and available in black or white to match a modern cash desk environment. The stylish and highly compact housing integrates perfectly into the appearance of a restaurant cash desk. The supplied adhesive Velcro strips allow you to place the waiter lock nearly anywhere, including keyboard, monitor and bar table, while its maximum cable length of up to 2 metres offers the required flexibility. The Velcro strips prevent the lock from slipping out of place and waiters can identify themselves in the wink of an eye. The matching waiter keys are available in ten trendy colours.
