The 15D1 is available with industry-leading Elo touch technologies. The Zero-Bezel APR technology brings an extra competitive edge to your POS environment. The Zero-Bezel APR seamless glass surface looks sophisticated and delivers a brilliant touch experience. It also is highly practical, because virtually 100 percent of the surface area is useable, which also makes maintenance easier. The unit is also available with True-Flat AccuTouch five-wire resistive and IntelliTouch surface wave technologies. All versions are carefully sealed and meet requirements in the hospitality industry in terms of splash resistance. Equipped with a 2.2 GHz Intel Celeron Dual Core processor, the 15D1 can handle highly demanding POS applications. A large number of peripherals, input/output port options and a storage capacity of 160 GB allow you to customise the unit according to specific requirements. The standard memory of 1 GB can be extended to up to 4 GB. The 15D1 serves the needs of customers who require a compact and flexible unit, as well as high technical performance. Along with the standard memory you may install a second HDD and implement this combined capacity to increase the security of your clients by mirroring their data. Thanks to a large number of standard interfaces, you can integrate the 15D1 into almost every existing network. In addition to seven USB interfaces, you can benefit from a parallel, two PS/2 and five serial ports two of the latter are voltage supported. You can optionally install a Mini-PCI card for Wi-Fi operation. A printer can be connected via the 24 Volt connection, and a cash drawer via the 12 Volt/24 Volt port. The 15D1 unit also has excellent cable management the power adaptor is already integrated into the case and connectors are nicely hidden in the I/O bay, so cables can exit left or right. No external cables are required when installing Elo accessories. Maintenance and upgrade are easily carried out on-site, requiring a few minutes in only a few steps. You can extend amount of RAM or install another hard disk by themselves. Choose optionally among Windows 7 and other operating systems, as well as among a variety of peripheral devices. You choose between a magnetic stripe reader for customer, credit or EC cards, or a fingerprint reader for user identification. A customer display and a bar code scanner optionally 1D single line or 2D omnidirectional complete the systems functionality. The back panel offers space for individual sales campaigns and advertisements in order to further increase sales volume.
