As the only printer series in its class, P1xx printers feature an integrated LCD display that informs users about printer status and configuration.
The desktop printer prints personalised or fully printed cards within seconds - either monochrome or in colour depending on the ink ribbon used. The plastic cards are printed at 12 dots/mm 300 dpi using sublimation or thermal transfer printing. An optionally available integrated encoder writes additional data on a magnetic stripe HiCo/LoCo.
All P1xxi units are equipped with a standard USB 1.1 interface and optionally an Ethernet interface, making them compatible to all existing customer systems.
