The VoyagerBT 9535 is a wireless bar code scanner with laser scan engine. When scanning bar codes it offers significantly more convenience and flexibility than a wired scanner. This compact, single-handed scanner reads all common one-dimensional bar codes from up to twenty centimetres distance. If that is insufficient, the user can use Bluetooth to move 10 metres away from the receiver to scan bar codes anywhere in the room e.g. in shelves etc.. The patented CodeGate technology is also integrated into this scanner after scanning the bar codes, the user can send the data to the host without the need of any cables. This feature allows scanning bar codes from menus and can be deactivated by the user if necessary.

The clear advantage of the wireless VoyagerBT 9535 is that users do not have to worry about loose hanging cables and the danger of tripping over them, as all data is transmitted via Bluetooth. That is why the scanner is the perfect choice for retail involving larger goods e.g. furniture, construction material, etc., warehouse applications, workshops and team workplaces or similar applications.
No more unnecessary lifting of heavy objects by customers or staff. This makes scanning substantially faster with a highly increased efficiency. The scanner has a built-in buffer that can hold up to twenty bar codes in case the user exceeds the range of the receiver station. All buffered bar codes are transmitted after re-establishing the wireless connection.
The main component is still Honeywells proven scan engine and decoder components that are also used in the non-wireless 9540. For that reason, the VoyagerBT 9535 is also able to scan all common one-dimensional bar codes from up to twenty centimetres distance. The aggressive speed of 72 scans per second makes it an excellent choice for various bar codes and applications. The Bluetooth wireless module and the rechargeable battery are all integrated in the scanners compact housing. The modern lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides enough capacity for roughly 12,000 scans with each charge charging time 2.5 hours. The scanner is charged once it is returned to the station.
Scanner and station can be used without additional accessories - Bluetooth dongles are not required. The receiver is part of the station that is connected to the computer. Naturally, the scanner is able to connect to other Bluetooth devices, if that is required. A rechargeable battery, cables and a Bluetooth receiver are included in the package.
